What awesome news that Rory is all clear.
Well myself and the family have had a bit of a hectic few days this week to the doctors. Tuesday 16th Nov Brandon came home from school saying that he thinks he has a broken his toes after jumping over a gym mat in the hall and landing awkardly. I agreed cause his foot looked liked a puffed balloon. Then Harley tells me he nose has a sore on it and has been like that for about a week( I haven't seen this one for days as he has been in town) and that he had a rash on his arm. I decided there and then to check out the rest of my kids in case something was wrong with them but they were algud-thank goodness!!. Then there was myself, Sunday 14th  i did a bit of heavy lifting and heard a crack from my wrist, it was sore at the time and it did swell but i thought i would get over it and just let it go.
So Wednesday it was three of us heading to the doctors, First up was Harley- found out he needed medication for the nose and arm, next was me and i needed an x-ray and same for Brandon. After our x-rays the doctor informed me that brandon had fractured his 2nd toe and broken his 3rd and 4th toe to which we had to go to Whangarei hospital for an operation on his toes and my results was a slight fracture to my wrist. So off to Whangarei we went for the next few days. Brandon did'nt need any surgery after all and is now in a lovely light green cast for the next six weeks which means no swimming and possibly still in his cast for his birthcay next month. As for me it will be taking it easy for the next week and Harley will be on medication for the next 2weeks.
What a trip to the doctors aye Guys!!!
Lots of luv

WhoopWhoop again for a great result guys!  So happy to hear the good news.  Life has been very busy with a new baby in the family.  Jamie, Rei and baby Jayden-Rei moved into their own house just over a week ago, I miss them so much and so does Korie.  However they are only three blocks away!  This makes for a rather quiet household.  Korie went eel fishing for a fundraiser for the west highland pipe band today and caught a couple of eels, he had a great time.  I'm so excited for you all with the new baby coming, what a sweet blessing he will be, keep well and hugs to the whole family from the Morrisons xox

Howdy!  By crikey you fit alot into your lives!!!  I get exhausted just reading your updates!  Thats awful about your nose Rory,  I hope it heals quickly!
The kids in our house got all dressed up for Halloween tonight.  Usually we go trick or treating to some pre organised homes, but this year we decided to stay home and have them come to us so we decorated the front of our house with a big spider and I made a ghoulish figure that stood beside the front door out of an old vacume cleaner pipe a mop, black sheet, mask and wig.  I thought it looked pretty cool.  We bought a green light up skull too.  We had quite a few trick or treaters come by, even some teenagers not in fancy dress!  So I made them do some tricks for their treats!!  Kody went off with his mate Devin and his family for about an hour and when they came home they decided that ours was the house with the best treats!!
Last weekend we headed up north to Kaitaia.  Staying with some good friends.  We spent some time on Saturday at Lake Ngatu, the boys all had a ride on a jetski, Brian had a go on a biscuit behind the jetski, its was all good until he came off and couldnt get back on!!!  And I struggled to fit into my pre children wetsuit!  It only too me about half an hour of struggling, laughing and huffing and puffing....STUPID HIPS!!!  But with a little heaving help from my friend (who had to drag herself off the floor laughing at me!) We managed to get me into it!  Only to go over to the lake and not even touch the water!! On Sunday we went to Tokerau Beach (I still never made it into the water!) The weather was gorgeous!
The kids all enjoyed playing around in the water.
Well I guess you might be into countdown mode for the arrival of your Baby!!!  Kathryns Grandson is super cute and cuddly!  ...made me have a bit of a cry when I held him for the first time!
The boys had their DPS Show day on Friday.  Kody got 1st for his calender art and Ben achieved a 3rd place for sand saucer and a merit for his vase.  Made me very proud.  There was a breakaway calf in the Grand Parade which had a ripple effect on the other animals.  Was very funny to watch but the kids seemed to get in under control quickly!
I will be giving you a call sometime this week re the November catch up too.  So now I will hit the sack.  Take care Lots of Love from the Johnstons xxxxx
