To Leigh, Rory, Sean and Sam I saw this on Mandy McGregor's facebook page and had to look. Leigh, I don't believe we knew each other really well, but I can't imagine anything worse than having a child that you brought into the world be so sick. My only baby, Cooper, also turns 7 this year and I would be devastated if anything happened to him. I send thoughts of strength and perserverance and wish you all the best for a happy ending to this... From Tracy, Marty & Cooper

Hi there Rory.. You and your family do not know me. I am an ex Dargaville girl now living in Australia.  I still have family and friend that live in Dargaville.  I happened to see Trudi Johnstons request on facebook to look at your new webpage!!  You story has touched me so very much. You see 5 years ago I a had a baby, his name is Reilly.  Reilly was born with Craniosynostosis (a brain and head deformity) and we spent time at the Neurosurgical Department at Starship Hospital when he has 6 months old, the same place that you are now. Reilly had major head surgery and is now a lot better he was very strong, just like you.  So we would love to donate some money to your mum and dad and family and we are also sending all of our positive energy and thoughts to you and your family.  You are a brave wee man and you have some special friends and family. You look after yourself and say hi to all the lovely doctors and nurses there from us!  Nellwyn, Kyle, Reilly and Willow Smith - Australia

Jeni Gorrie ( Dargaville , NZ )

Hi Rory, I'm Caid's Mum, his little sister Lily started at your school on Monday and her birthday is on the 27th March like you. I know you are friends with Cody Johnston, well Lily's best friend is Ben, Cody's little bro. Lily reckons she is going to marry Ben! Funny aye...wonder what Ben thinks about that! Anyway, our Family is thinking of you every day and sending positive thoughts for you. We'd like to thank your Mum and Dad for sharing your story and giving us the opportunity to donate some money to help them look after you. Love and smiles from the Gorries
