Good evening!  I hope you are all doing well today. I hear you recieved a lovely card from Room 3, this must have brightened your day.  Kody and Ben got a cool surprise after school today as you know they have a new desk and a rearranged room.  Well today I added a few extras like a massive map of NZ and a big Map of the World along with some new felt tips, pencils, paper rulers (that bend!!) and skate Board erasers, and a cork board each! oh yes and a couple of magnifying glass things  It was a truely fantastic afternoon for them they were very creative...exploring the world.  Around the Map of the World it has all the flags of every country too. Kody cant wait for you to see it!  Stella wasnt too good today she had a temperature and was quite miserable all day, hopefully she is feeling better tomorrow!  Kody had practice for the DPS Kapa Haka group today he is really enjoying it.  He has also offically signed up for Keas and coming up in September they have organised (weather permiting) for a 15 minute plane ride!! cool aye!! Kody is excited, me on the other hand am a bit nervous! Ben came home with a new song to practice on his ukelele...'Hes got the whole world in his hands'.... so right now I am going to have a go at it!! Sleep well and keep up the fantastic work xxx

Hi Rory, I know that you have to put on weight so I came up with this brilliant idea that I would lose some so you could gain it!!! I thought that was pretty cool, then it wouldn't be wasted. I hate wasting things (although you should see the bottom of my fridge) So far I have lost 1 kilo so you use it dude. Fantastic news about Sams certificate, that isn't an easy feat let alone everything else that is going on in your family. Thinking of you all. Brenda

Way to go with making those neutrophils Rory!!!  if they could just figure out a way to make boundless energy for your folks they would really be on a winner.
We are tracking down some lambs today for calf club day - Willow was really reluctant to get up in the cold and wet for another year, but she caved when she saw someone elses' lamb at school today (and no it wasn't Mary's little lamb!)... Eila is really keen to look after a lamb - she loves it - helps that she won the intermediate calling last year...
Bummer that you have long hours to fill in at the moment - what about writing about this - you could make an amazing book Rory - give you something for you and your kids to look back on in years to come....

kiakaha - (well your band says kia k     ry at the moment coz it has flour all over it - making chocolate cake very messily!)

Well hello to you all!!!  Keep up the good work Rory you are doing great!! I am glad Mum got a good nights sleep, It would have been nice to have your Dad with you for the night.
I have returned home today I spent the weekend at a Beauty Expo.  I have come home with one extra long ridiculous acrylic nail and ..........wait for it..........NO WRINKLES!!!!!........well for about 10 hours or so! (A new product) You might not recognise me!  Our Hotel room had terrible beds so we did not get a very good nights sleep but we had lots of fun!  I managed to hitch a ride home with my cousin Peter who kindly (I bribed him with Beer!!) offered to bring a desk for the boys home on top of his hilux that I picked up on trademe! Kody and Ben were most excited about this new addition to their room, now I just have to rearrange everything to fit!  Peter son Jack has a new puppy called Bell who came along for the ride. When I first met Bell she was soooo excited she PEED ON MY GORGEOUS BOOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it wasnt a good start I can tell you! Luckily for her she is cute (Chocolate Lab).
So after not such a good nights sleep I am now going to hit the hay.  Nighty Night troopers! xxxxx

Kathryn and Korie ( Dargaville )

Hi dee hi Gardiners!  Firstly, Rory dude you are doing a great job at getting through this stage and I have to agree with the guestbook entry that refered to Nimo - 'Just keep swimming, just keep swimming'!  And secondly, we are home tonight after an 8 hour trip back from Ohakune (a tiny little town at the base of Mt Ruapehu) Korie skied down Ruapehu yesterday after only about a half hour lesson and a few trips down the learners slope!  We were totally blown away by the whole experiecne.  The sun shone on the slopes and the snow was so brilliantly white it took my breath away! Travelling with us was my trusty green Rory ribbon which we placed on our first ever snowman (photo will be in the post within the week)  However it isn't easy to make snowmen!  That was more of a challenge for Korie than skiing down the mountain!  Tee hee hee.  Korie and I rode on a toboggan together on Wednesday and we both giggled like school girls (well actually I did all the giggling) Korie was silent till we hit the snow wall at the end and nearly did a back flip!  Then he laughed so hard I thought he might pee himself!!!  As soon as he stood up he ran up the slope, fell over and smacked his nose on the hard snow!  (Snow looks soft but it blimmin hurts when you do a nose dive in it!!! He was a bit sore but there was no stopping him after that, he was full steam ahead for about 3 hours non stop.  Korie has just come in the door after going for a night ride with Gordon, they rigged up a head lamp on his helmet and did a ride down town.
Anyway in the mean time keep being positive and strong, you are in our thoughts and prayers always.  Love Kathryn and Korie xox  PS hi to Mum, Dad and Sam.  By the way Korie had two uncles, his dad and Grandad Morrison at the snow with him and none of them wore shorts and they all had gloves on.  We can't figure out if your dad is a legend or crazy!!!
