jason wendy logan and mikayla ( np )

hi guys, yep the weather has got wintery here thats for sure, we almost got blown off our hillside this week the winds made our house shake and shudder, the trampoline now has no safety net and no safety pads - the wind took care of all that with a hiss and a roar!! The huge hayshed just down the road lost all its roof and wrapped it around the neighbours fence - lucky for him cos he lives in a caravan only meters from where it was dumped. Sounds like you have gotten busy again with the tramping and exploring, great to hear you are braving the cold and back into it.  Mikayla just cut her first top front tooth on Saturday - she is in lots of pain with it - and has a really snotty nose now to go with her awful cough - i'd hate to go thru all that again - poor baby.  anyhow take care lots of love the naki cousins

Hi there guys, nice to see the weather hasn't slowed y'all down! Korie is just coming out of a three day tummy bug, I thought he was a skinny weasel before - well now he is skinnier!  Korie would have to agree with Rory about Great Uncle Harrys biscuits, griffins super wines rock and if I would let him he would eat half a packet in one sitting!  With a hot milo of course and a spoon to catch the dunks that drop off!  However he is on a fairly boring diet until we know his tummy is back to normal (super wines are hidden in the cupboard behind the weetbix till further notice).  Ooops Leigh sorry to hear about the unfortunate accident with Sparky, couldn't help but have a little chuckle, when we moved back up from Rotorua we didn't have our cat in a cage and she peed all over my foot yick that was gross - she always travels in a cage now!  Take care Love Kathryn and Korie xox

Gday Rory, great pics of Taranaki.  Would love to go there ourselves now, it looks gorgeous!  William and Eva are on school holidays as well now, and we went up to Cairns and the tablelands to check out the rainforest.  Its beautiful, and we were surprised to see there are even loads of kauri there.  There were white cockatoos flying through the trees and colourful parrots as well.  We didnt see any snakes though thank goodness.  We are back home now and have one more week before back to school.  Its great hearing what you are up to and seeing your pics.  Thinking of you all xx

Far out brussell sprout!!  You certainly cram in alot into you holidays!!  We hope to head off to the movies tomorrow (Ice age 3) its a wee bit of an undertaking with Stella, someone has to take her while we watch the movie (Mums are very handy for this job!)   Today the we went out to my sisters house and had hair cuts...yes even I had a tidy up!  This was Stellas first ever haircut and she admired herself in the mirror the whole time (just like her mum!) The costal walkway looks amazing!  and well done Rory on a MAMMOTH effort (2ks walk & 3ks ride!) Kody and Ben think they have mastered some of Michael Jacksons dance moves too (this gives you something to look forward to at the play day!!...its really funny!)  Dont tell them I told you!   Now I think you are travelling home tomorrow?? so travel safe and we will see you all real soon! xxxxx
