Rory and Sean arrived home just after lunch, and it has taken 4 hours to clear the deck of gear!  Sean took some classic photos this week which are up on the website (Waitapu beach was taken in the Naki at Christmas, and Dargaville Primary's swimming sports occurred a couple of weeks prior to Rory's diagnosis).  Sam ran up the drive after he got off the school bus, and the two boys are now watching a Pokemon video.  It is wonderful to see their heads together while they discuss the movie (which is beyond me!).  Every now and then there are outbursts of laughter.  Rory completed radiotherapy session number 11 this morning, he is now 1/3 of the way there.  He is still having his shunt wound dressed daily.  On the way home Sean and Rory called in at Dargaville Hunting and Fishing to collect some frozen dinners and baking from Kim (thanks very much).  I caught up with my good friend Heni from DoC this morning.  It was lovely to see her and catch up on the news.  Sean, Sam and I are planning to do the Fun Run/Walk through Waipoua Forest with Rory on Sunday.  Pushing the wheelchair it is just as well the walk commences at Tane Mahuta and is all downhill to the Waipoua campground (12km).
